Based in Sheffield City; full-time, temporary to permanent; six-month contract

A fresh start in a new year! We are looking for a capable multitasker to come take over as the Business Support Administrator in our head office in the heart of Sheffield. Do you enjoy being involved in all areas of the business and having a varied role? Are you incredibly well-organized and committed to helping the team? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain significant exposure to a range of business operations, including critical roles like operations, IT, HR, sales & marketing, business development, and outsourced business support for a local SME company. In the future, this position might turn into a permanent one.

What will you be doing?

1. Sales & Marketing – Assistance in organizing conferences, socials, team-building activities, hotel reservations, travel, and providing support for goods. further providing the bid team and business development with ad hoc administrative help as required.

2. HR – provide administrative support for a range of HR domains, such as contract and letter issuance, ED&I initiative support, CV uploading, new starting pack preparation, vetting process management, application monitoring via the resource tracker, and interview coordination. Additionally, helping with workforce planning schedules and making sure our internal HR system is updated with accurate people data.

3. Outsourced Business Support – Managing daily mail, deliveries, and couriers, as well as opening and filing all customer correspondence, scanning, and uploading documents to our system. Furthermore, recording and depositing customer checks at the nearby branch.

4. IT – working along with IT to oversee the template collection as directed by the team.

5. Operations – Supporting the creation of policies, utilities and facilities management, and risk assessments.

6. General Office Duties – carrying out a variety of office tasks, such as greeting guests, setting up meeting spaces, placing orders for supplies and stationery, and planning refreshments.

About You:

1. Equipped competent use of Teams and SharePoint in addition to Microsoft Office 365, which includes Word, Excel, and Outlookith outstanding professional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with our internal team, Senior Management, and external suppliers, this person exudes confidence, engages others, and has a pleasant demeanor.
2. Positive and proactive with a proactive mindset, self-motivated and eager to help out when work demands it.
3. Proven capacity for multitasking, prioritization, organization, and success in a hectic work environment.
4. Able to take initiative and follow directions to pick up things quickly and efficiently.
5. Outstanding time management abilities, meticulousness, and a readiness to go above and above are combined.
6. keeps up a neat, polished, and professional appearance.

You must live in the area and be able to work from the Sheffield office every day if necessary. We are unable to review your application if you do not reside in South Yorkshire. It is a requirement to be eligible to work in the UK permanently; we do not sponsor visas.
