Your Role in Shaping the Future of Transport:
As a vital member of our Business Development team, you will be instrumental in fostering growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the UK’s Traffic Management sector, including prominent companies and local authorities. Your efforts will directly contribute to the expansion of SRL’s market presence and the adoption of our cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:
- Cultivating and nurturing robust relationships with Traffic Management companies and local authority clients throughout the United Kingdom.
- Effectively promoting SRL’s core suite of intelligent transport solutions, including ReMOS, Portables, Urban64, and VMS.
- Providing crucial support to the Business Development Director in strategic stakeholder mapping and identifying key opportunities for market growth.
- Actively contributing to strategic sales projects, engaging marketing campaigns, and the ongoing optimization of our CRM system.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a consistently positive and valuable client experience.
- Providing expert advice, technical insights, and actively gathering customer feedback to help shape future product innovations.
- Undertaking travel across the UK as required (while the base location is Solihull, national travel is an integral part of the role).
- Accurately reporting all sales activities and diligently managing pipeline updates through our CRM system.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
✅ Essential Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales roles.
- Strong capabilities in building lasting relationships and effectively managing stakeholders at various levels.
- Comfort and proficiency in working with CRM systems and generating insightful analytical reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal forms, coupled with strong time management abilities.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A valid full UK driving license.
🎯 Desirable:
- A background or understanding of the Traffic Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing industries.
- A-level qualifications or equivalent; an MBA or similar relevant experience is considered a plus.
