Job Description:

For a Public Sector client in Nottingham, Brook Street is hiring motivated people with a positive attitude for a variety of full- and part-time customer-focused roles. These are biweekly positions that can be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.

Position: Assistant/Adviser for Customer Service

Pay: Weekly salary of £11.10 per hour!

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (no evenings or weekends)

Temporary contract

In this position, you will be helping clients in person with applications for citizenship and visas. Working as a team, your goal will be to provide courteous, professional, and efficient customer service so that each person has a great experience.

These positions are initially for a period of six months, with the option to convert to a fixed-term agreement that lasts for an additional year. We urge you to apply for this position if you have great interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and problem-solving expertise!

As the suitable candidate, you will possess:

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
2. The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
3. A basic understanding of IT, with system training provided as necessary
4. The capacity to solve problems well and work as a cohesive team with commitment and flexibility
5. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
6. Capacity to deliver prompt, courteous, professional customer service that builds assurance and trust
7. Being aware of and adhering to company regulations and procedures.

Experience that is helpful but not required consists of:

1. Prior experience working directly with clients in a role.
2. Proficiency in managing substantial amounts of assignments or activities.

The following are among the duties of the position:

1. Digitizing and logging data while carrying out a certain procedure.
2. Acting as a customer’s point of contact.
3. Keeping a professional demeanor when handling interactions and expectations from customers.
4. Adhering to the Quality Framework in order to fulfill daily targets for accuracy and performance.
5. Managing difficult circumstances with professionalism.
6. Striking a balance between individual and collaborative work, as well as efficient time management.
7. Managing newly received service complaints in accordance with protocols, elevating to the Complaints Manager as needed.
