About the Job:

We are excited to provide a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join Virgin Media O2 Business and focus on our Public Sector clientele. According to the Business Customer & Sales Manager, Business Development Executives are critical to accomplishing cross-sell goals and promoting new business growth when they are in line with the Sector strategy and tactical plan.

In compliance with the defined strategy and plans, their responsibilities include executing growth plans for assigned clients, working with Business Development and Customer Success Managers to find and seize opportunities, and leading virtual teams to secure client commitment for new business.

Among the duties are:

1. Reach sales goals (TCV, or total contract value) for assigned accounts.
2. Produce leads and turn them into purchases.

As stated in the commission plan, Business Development Executives will be given a new TCV objective for particular clients or alternative metrics for new business growth.

3. For clients who have been identified as Nurture and Growth, carry out the scheduled actions detailed in an Account Plan. For larger accounts, work under the supervision of a Business Development Manager or Business Development Director; for smaller accounts, take charge of the account planning procedure.
4. Work together with Customer Success teams to evaluate and rank opportunities found in customer accounts.
5. Interact with allocated clients to present Virgin Media O2’s offerings, identify clientele’s demands, and foster fresh cross-selling prospects.

Essential Requirements:

You must meet the following requirements in order to be taken into consideration:

1. A proven track record in a fast-paced sales environment exhibiting abilities to find, nurture, and close new business prospects with both current and potential clients.

2. A track record of successfully building and maintaining connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client businesses, which has led to the creation of new income.

3. Strong grasp of sales and business dynamics along with the capacity to coordinate business goals that are advantageous to VMO2 and its clients.

4. vast experience and skill in managing and guiding highly driven, cross-functional teams committed to exploring new business opportunities.

5. demonstrated expertise in persuasive and negotiating techniques, together with documented experience in contract abilities, including writing and interpretation.

6. Proven track record of using CRM systems—particularly Salesforce—to effectively report sales projections with accuracy.
