UX Designer Manager Job Opportunity in Belfast
Deloitte Digital is seeking an experienced professional to join their Technology & Transformation team as a UX Designer, Manager (Financial Services). Specifically, this permanent or fixed-term contract position offers a hybrid working schedule based in Belfast or London. Additionally, this role focuses on leading user experience design across major digital transformation initiatives for financial services clients.
About the Role
As a UX Design Manager, you will apply a design-led approach to solve complex problems for iconic financial brands. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional experts, including experience strategists, researchers, service designers, and software engineers. As a result, you will deliver industry-leading interactive products across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms. Consequently, your leadership will directly shape user-centered solutions while driving business growth in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
Deliverable Creation: Produce high-quality user interface designs, interactive prototypes (using Figma), wireframes, and information architecture specifications.
User Research & Insights: Synthesize user and stakeholder research to shape UX design concepts, customer experience maps, personas, and scenarios.
Workshop Facilitation: Design, lead, and facilitate co-creation sessions, interactive design workshops, and usability testing with senior client stakeholders.
System Reviews: Evaluate existing systems to identify UX issues and formulate actionable, human-centered design recommendations.
Candidate Requirements
Design Expertise: Extensive experience in end-to-end UX design, user-centered methodologies, rapid prototyping, and building interactive systems. Therefore, a strong design portfolio demonstrating hands-on Figma capability is required.
Client Engagement: Proven track record of successful client delivery, facilitating workshops, and confidently presenting design concepts to senior executives.
Preferred Background: Experience in user research, business analysis, visual design, front-end development, or digital strategy. Additionally, an interest in government sectors like Defence and Security is beneficial.
