Specifically, this full-time role is based at their global headquarters in Canary Wharf, London, as part of the 2027 Explorer Programme intake. About the Programme
As part of the Explorer Programme, this two-year scheme is designed to provide exceptional depth and breadth through three eight-month rotations. Furthermore, you will receive job-based bespoke training from day one, gaining broad exposure across customer insight, brand, content, digital channels, data, and emerging tech like AI. As a result, you will work on impactful commercial projects that directly influence how millions experience the Barclays brand.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Research & Insights: Execute research projects and prepare presentations to support strategic decision-making and marketing execution. In addition, you will collaborate with senior management to implement findings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and external agencies to support vital business initiatives.
Product & Campaign Management: Identify commercial opportunities, develop business cases, and assist with the launch of new marketing products and services.
Customer Engagement: Help attract and retain clients through diverse marketing channels, including branding, digital marketing, social media, events, and sponsorships.
Candidate Requirements
Education: A strong degree (in any discipline) or an expected degree achieved before June 2027. Therefore, candidates from all academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Core Competencies: A customer-first mindset, natural curiosity for new technology, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to turn complex data into compelling stories.
Eligibility Note: Applicants must have the legal right to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the programme (August 2027 to August 2029) without requiring visa sponsorship from Barclays.
