About the Role
As a Market Analyst, you will analyse, interpret, and process global consumer healthcare sales data while supporting clients with customised market insights and research projects.
This is primarily a remote role, although occasional office attendance at the company’s headquarters in Essex may be required.
Key Responsibilities
📊 Data Analysis & Database Management
- Produce and update the global CHC sales database (DB6)
- Analyse and process market sales data from multiple sources
- Validate and interpret industry information and audit data
- Monitor market trends, regulations, product launches, and industry developments
📈 Market Research & Reporting
- Gather data from audits, desk research, manufacturer interviews, and published reports
- Use statistical techniques and industry knowledge to create forecasts and projections
- Support clients with customised data requests and analysis projects
🤝 Client Support & Collaboration
- Liaise with clients regarding ad hoc projects and consultancy requests
- Assist clients in using database features effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams on research reports and market analysis

🎓 Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
💻 Essential Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
⭐ Desirable Skills:
- Experience with FileMaker or Power BI
- Knowledge of audit data (Nielsen, IRI, etc.)
- Market research or industry analysis experience
- Understanding of data visualisation tools
