Role Overview

As a key member of our technical support team, you will never be standing still. Whether you are prepping gear in the warehouse or setting up on-site, you will play a crucial part in the success of our productions. Consequently, you will work alongside a friendly team that knows how to meet tight deadlines while upholding the highest standards of safety.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties will be varied and impactful. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Logistics: You will load and unload event equipment, including lighting, audio, video systems, staging, and furniture.

• Warehouse Prep: You will assist with the preparation of technical equipment before it heads out to a venue.

• Vehicle Safety: You will ensure that all vehicles are loaded and unloaded correctly to prevent damage during transit.

• Efficiency & Safety: You will work efficiently as part of a team to meet strict event deadlines while maintaining an uncompromising standard of health and safety.

• Quality Control: You will perform basic equipment checks and report any faults or damages immediately to your Crew Chief or Warehouse Manager.

• Time Management: You will maintain exceptional punctuality and manage your work diary effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We value reliability and enthusiasm above all else. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who possess:

• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in the events, production, or entertainment industry is preferred. However, we will consider candidates with no experience, provided they have the right attitude and work ethic.

• Physical Capability: You must be physically fit and capable of heavy manual handling, including the regular lifting and carrying of equipment.

• Safety Awareness: You demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse health and safety protocols.

• Teamwork: You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

• Location: You are based in or can easily commute to Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

Nice-to-Haves

While not mandatory, the following skills will give your application a boost:

• Specific experience working with professional audio, lighting, or video equipment.

• A full UK driving licence.

• Relevant health and safety certifications, such as Manual Handling or Counterbalance training.

Job Details & Benefits

• Job Type: Temporary

• Pay: £12.71 – £20.00 per hour

• Work Location: On the road (travel to various sites required)
