Indeed, L’Oréal is looking for an ambitious individual to join our White City office for a Media Summer Internship 2026. This 10-week, full-time program offers a competitive salary of £25,210 per annum and provides a unique opportunity to work at the leading edge of our digital evolution. Specifically, we are searching for a Media Transformation & Performance Intern who is ready to start on Monday, 29th June 2026, and help us navigate the exciting shift toward AI-driven markets.
About the Role
At L’Oréal, we firmly believe that learning never truly ends. Therefore, as our Media Transformation & Performance Intern, you will sit at the very center of L’Oréal UKI’s digital transformation. You will play a dual role: first, you will support the global rollout of Melody, our media platform; second, you will help spearhead our transition from traditional SEO to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). Ultimately, you won’t just manage data—you will build the blueprints for how L’Oréal wins in an AI-driven world.
Your Journey as a Media Intern
Your day-to-day tasks will be diverse and high-impact. For instance, you will perform the following duties:
-
Platform Rollout: You will assist in the UKI deployment of the Melody platform, working closely with our internal teams and agency partners.
-
Data Auditing: You will audit legacy media data to ensure it is migration-ready and strictly compliant with global taxonomy.
-
Blueprint Creation: You will design “How-to” guides and playbooks to ensure all brand teams use our platforms effectively.
-
Retail Transformation: You will help the Performance Media team optimize our direct-to-retail media operations.
-
SEO to GEO Transition: You will play a key supporting role in the taskforce focused on transitioning our search strategy toward Generative AI.
-
Performance Tracking: You will gather feedback from stakeholders to identify friction points and map out integration opportunities.
-
Internal Communication: You will help present milestones in digital newsletters or team showcases.
What You’ll Bring to L’Oréal
We are looking for a student with a sharp mind and a passion for technology. Ideally, you possess the following skills:
-
Digital Fluency: You have a strong interest in the changing media landscape and Generative Search.
-
Analytical Precision: You can audit large datasets and ensure strict adherence to complex structures.
-
Communication: You have the confidence to translate technical jargon into clear, user-friendly guides.
-
Problem-Solving: You have a natural curiosity to fix “friction points” and build efficient workflows.
-
Proactivity: You are a “self-starter” who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-
Academic Status: You must be returning to University after the internship; unfortunately, if you have already graduated, you are not eligible.
