What You’ll Be Doing
As a Business Development Associate (BDA), you’ll serve as the initial point of contact for both new and returning customers, playing an absolutely vital role in their journey with us. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with new customer registrations, primarily via phone, to welcome them and understand their needs.
- Proactively reconnecting with previous or inactive customers to re-establish valuable relationships.
- Meticulously understanding each customer’s unique needs and demonstrating precisely how Midsummer can effectively support them.
- Promptly responding to product inquiries and providing tailored quotations that meet client specifications.
- Continuously learning our extensive product range to effectively support the wider sales team.
- Diligently keeping our CRM system updated with all outreach activities, ensuring accurate records.
- Assisting in crucial customer training sessions, exhibitions, and vital marketing campaigns.
- Furthermore, within just six months, you will take on and manage your own portfolio of customer accounts.
- Ultimately, you will lead product or sector-specific outreach initiatives, driving new business opportunities.

Salary & Bonus
We offer a competitive compensation package that rewards your contributions:
- Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 annually (depending on your experience).
- Performance Bonus: Up to £2,500 in performance-related bonuses, directly tied to your success.

Location & Flexibility
This is a full-time role primarily based in either Cambridge or Glasgow. However, for the right candidate, we may offer the possibility of hybrid or remote working options in the future.
