My Background:
Coming from a middle-class family in Kerala, India, I embarked on a journey of academic and professional development. In 2016, I successfully completed my Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Computer Application, providing me with a strong foundation for my future endeavours. However, my aspiration to pursue higher education abroad had to be put on hold temporarily due to personal circumstances.
My Journey:
Following a brief career break in 2016, I decided to channel my ambitions into the field of business management. I enrolled in Bishop Jerome Institute in Kollam, Kerala, to pursue my post-graduation in MBA, specializing in Finance and Marketing. It was during this period that my determination and dedication bore fruit when I secured a placement as a Retail Management Trainee at More Retail Limited. Remarkably, within just three months, I was promoted to the position of Store Manager. In this role, I assumed the pivotal responsibility of overseeing day-to-day store operations. I also had the privilege of leading a dynamic team, where I contributed to the delivery of exceptional customer service and implemented effective product promotion strategies. Throughout this journey, my dream of studying abroad remained a burning aspiration. To make it a reality, I realigned my efforts and focused on the necessary steps to reach this goal. Eventually, I took the bold step of relocating to the United Kingdom, where I am currently enrolled in the General MBA program at the University of Northampton. This prestigious institution is renowned for its diverse international student community and its commitment to academic excellence.
My Learning:
My journey has imparted valuable lessons in perseverance and adaptability. It has reinforced the belief that personal circumstances should not deter us from pursuing our dreams. By staying resolute in my goals and making strategic choices, I have been able to carve out a unique path that seamlessly blends practical experience with higher education. As I continue my MBA program at the University of Northampton, I eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. My journey serves as a testament to the idea that, with unwavering determination, resilience, and a clear vision, one can overcome obstacles and achieve their aspirations in the ever-evolving landscape of the business world.
My Achievements:

The rapid promotion to the role of Store Manager at More Retail Limited underscores my leadership qualities and ability to manage teams effectively. Additionally, my successful transition to pursuing a second Master’s degree abroad is a testament to my unwavering commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
