Role Overview
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll provide crucial technical support and training for our Thermal Management products. You will also directly contribute to the full sales lifecycle.
You will:
- Provide technical support and training to both customers and sales teams for our Thermal Management products.
- Deliver pre-sales technical support, including proposals, quotes, and tenders.
- Design customized solutions (Engineer-to-Order) when standard products don’t fit specific customer needs.
- Collaborate with consultants to develop tailored and effective solutions.
- Host events and webcasts to demonstrate Vertiv’s cutting-edge products and technologies.
- Support project management, product development, and customer meetings as a key technical expert.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing RFQs and identifying precise customer requirements.
- Selecting standard products or, when necessary, designing new ones.
- Providing technical documents, presentations, and support to our sales teams.
- Coordinating with engineering departments and managing the development of custom solutions.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities. 🔍
- Supporting quality management audits (ISO9001/14001) and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A strong background in Thermal products and data center solutions.
- Proven experience in quoting, proposing, and installing solutions.
- Fluent English is essential, and a second language is a plus.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You should be customer-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with people across all levels of an organization.
