About the Role

You’ll be joining our Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Relations (CCSR) department, which is a dynamic team dedicated to promoting LJMU’s mission and vision across multiple platforms. As a Social Media and Content Coordinator, your central mission will involve engaging our diverse audiences—including students, staff, and external stakeholders—through strategic content creation and impactful storytelling.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will:

• Develop and deliver compelling content across all of LJMU’s internal and external social media channels.
• Craft narratives that accurately reflect the university’s strategic goals and, in turn, significantly enhance its public profile.
• Collaborate closely with key university stakeholders, including the Vice-Chancellor and Executive Leadership Team, to ensure consistent messaging.
• Ensure all communication adheres to LJMU’s distinctive tone of voice and high editorial standards.
• Provide crucial support for major events, projects, and university-wide campaigns.
