About the Role

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and deploying network and security solutions. These solutions support the stability and growth of our client’s infrastructure. Ultimately, you’ll work on high-level projects, ensuring minimal downtime while you deliver secure and scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Deployment and Planning: You will plan, manage, and deploy technology changes to support Data Centre (DC) services.
• LAN Infrastructure: You’ll deploy LAN infrastructure for end-user requirements, including patching schedules and cabling.
• Implementation Plans: You will create detailed implementation plans for RFCs, including pre/post checks and backout strategies.
• Risk Management: You’ll identify change risks, document mitigation plans, and ensure seamless delivery with minimal downtime.
• Documentation: You’ll maintain infrastructure databases and produce high-standard network diagrams.
• Quality Assurance: You will peer review and validate technical deployment plans, providing constructive feedback to maintain quality.

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you must bring:

• Expertise: Proven expertise in Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewalls.
• Core Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Certifications: Certifications in Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Network Security are required, or you must have equivalent experience.
• Experience: Proven experience with Firewall Migration.
• Documentation Skills: Excellent documentation skills, especially using MS Office and Visio.
• Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills paired with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Communication: Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
