What You’ll Do 🎯

As the Senior Events Marketing Manager, you’ll manage and execute large-scale projects that are central to Xero’s marketing strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and management of high-impact events across the UK. This includes cornerstone events like Xerocon, Xero Roadshow, Xero Awards, and key external industry events.
• Comprehensive Management: Manage all aspects of event projects: concept creation, theme development, objective setting, detailed content planning, strict budgeting, and tracking key metrics.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This ensures you deliver seamless, brand-aligned events that meet all UK marketing objectives.
• Strategy & Alignment: Support and contribute to the UK event strategy while also ensuring it aligns perfectly with global marketing goals.
• Brand Integrity: Uphold Xero’s high brand standards across all events, maintaining consistency and quality in every event production.
• Team Guidance: Mentor and provide guidance within the marketing team, acting as the 2IC (second-in-command) to the Head of Events when required.
• Efficiency: Drive efficiencies and implement best practices to ensure smooth execution across all events.
• Sponsorship Oversight: Oversee sponsorships, making sure contracts execute flawlessly and all deliverables are met.
• Performance Analysis: Track event performance meticulously, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to improve ROI and attendee engagement.
• Tech Innovation: Manage event technology usage and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance attendee experiences.
