Role Overview

• Position: SOC Analyst (P-2 Level)

• Schedule: UK hours (08:00–16:00 GMT) or EMEA hours (09:00–17:00 CET)

• Location: Remote, Full-time

As a SOC Analyst, you will be at the frontline of cybersecurity operations. Your primary focus will be monitoring, triaging, and investigating threats across Live Nation’s global environments. Consequently, you will work closely with the Detection and Response Team (DART) to strengthen security controls and maintain operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations

• Monitor SIEM, EDR, and NDR tools for threats, anomalies, and suspicious activity.

• Conduct in-depth investigations using TTP-based analysis and internal threat intelligence.

• Participate in shift operations, ensuring timely detection, triage, and escalation.

Incident Response

• Act as a lead investigator during active security incidents.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather context, contain threats, and support remediation efforts.

• Document security incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews.

Process & Capability Improvement

• Contribute to SOC playbooks, operational procedures, and tuning detection rules.

• Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across shifts.

• Support capacity planning and security enhancements alongside SOC managers.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, and DFIR tools.

• Strong understanding of attacker Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

• Experience handling cloud security incidents (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• The ability to mentor and guide junior analysts.

Preferred Certifications

Any of the following certifications, or equivalent demonstrable experience, are preferred:

• GIAC Security Expert (GSE)

• GCIH, GCIA

• CySA+

• Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert

• AWS Certified Security

• CompTIA Security+

Additional Expectations

• You must participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.

• You will demonstrate flexibility during high-pressure or surge-response periods.

• You will collaborate with SOC leadership for strategy, planning, and team development.
