Your Role at a Glance:
As a Retail Shift Manager, you’ll keep daily operations smooth. You’ll lead your team by example. Solve problems and oversee the shop floor; you’ll take charge. Ensure our store standards are top-notch, even when the Store Manager and Deputy Manager are away.
Key Responsibilities:
Motivate and support your team. Apply Lidl’s Leadership and Company Principles. Delegate tasks efficiently, and keep things moving with a positive mindset. Be a problem-solver. Ensure smooth store operations, including cash handling and stock management. Perform freshness checks. Deliver exceptional customer experiences. Also, take initiative to grow as a leader and help others around you succeed.
What You’ll Need:
Proven experience in leading a team is needed. The environment should be busy and target-driven retail. You need a proactive, calm, and friendly attitude under pressure. Moreover, you should be able to inspire others and delegate effectively. Encouraging growth in your team is important. Strong organization skills are a must, and problem-solving skills are also key.
What We Offer:
The pay is £14.65 – £15.15 per hour. You’ll get extra pay for bank holidays: +£2.00/hr. Night shifts also have extra pay: +£3.50/hr. This is a 30-hour contract. Enjoy 30-35 days of holiday (pro rata). Furthermore, get a 10% in-store discount. We offer enhanced family leave. There’s a company pension and long service awards.
