What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a multi-million-pound program, leading it from Preliminary Design Review (PDR) all the way through to Final Design, Build, and Delivery. This is a strategically critical project that requires strong leadership, impeccable stakeholder management, and a sharp eye for detail.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the project lifecycle: You’ll lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery.
• Managing project plans: You’ll develop and manage integrated project plans across resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Overseeing finances: You will own and deliver against multi-million-pound budgets in line with contractual milestones.
• Acting as a key contact: You’ll serve as the primary contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Mitigating risks: You’ll actively manage risks, scope changes, and ensure full governance compliance.
• Leading the team: You will lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Providing clear reports: You’ll provide clear reporting to executive leadership and programme boards.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who brings:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex technical projects.
• Strong leadership, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
• Security Check (SC) clearance is required, with UK nationals preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or an equivalent certification.
• Experience in the defence or marine sectors.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering systems or manufacturing programs.
