Siemens Energy is offering an exciting 12-month internship within its Grid Technologies Order Execution team in Newcastle.

About the Role
As an Intern Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will be part of the Order Management team, supporting the delivery of key projects across the UK and Ireland.
You will gain exposure to multiple business areas, including:
- Sales
- Bid Management
- Commercial Operations
- Logistics & Order Execution
What You’ll Be Doing
📦 Order Management & Operations:
- Monitoring active orders and identifying potential delays
- Supporting order entry and system updates
- Participating in logistics and operations meetings
- Learning order fulfilment and dispatch processes
⚙ Project & Engineering Support:
- Assisting Project Managers in delivering projects on time
- Supporting management of subcontractors and global suppliers
- Contributing to delivery of transmission products (GIS, transformers, circuit breakers)
- Ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards
📊 Commercial & Financial Support:
- Working with finance teams to track project performance
- Supporting reporting of financial and commercial metrics
- Identifying risks, variations, and improvement opportunities
