Product Management Intern Job Opportunity in London
Microsoft is seeking an ambitious student to join their university intern cohort as a Product Management Intern. Specifically, this full-time internship is based in London. Additionally, applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
About the Role
As a Product Manager Intern, you will help define product vision and strategy by leveraging customer insights and market analysis. Furthermore, you will work on real-world projects alongside global teams to identify short- and long-term investment opportunities. As a result, you will evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize features, and drive product roadmaps. Consequently, you will build central, cross-functional leadership skills while enabling organic growth on cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Insights: Identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities through quantitative and qualitative analyses to scope problem impacts.
Feature Prioritization: Determine features to prioritize on the roadmap, driving Key Results, success criteria, and telemetry development alongside engineering.
Design & UX Collaboration: Iterate multiple designs with Design and Engineering teams, facilitating reviews to ensure usability and accessibility standards.
Product Progress: Partner with Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to monitor development metrics, establish release criteria, and integrate direct customer feedback.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with at least one semester or term remaining after completing the internship.
Relevant Experience: Prior experience in product, service, project, or program management, or software development.
Legal Authorization: Must hold valid legal work authorization in the UK (citizenship, valid visa, or work permit).
Preferred Qualifications: Degree focus in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
