Core Duties for Quality Experts

In this position, you will take ownership of technical documentation. Importantly, you must ensure all legislative information is accurate and compliant with customer policies. Your daily tasks will include:

• In-House Specifications: You will create detailed internal records and manage customer portals with absolute precision.

• Artwork Approval: You will check and approve artworks and final print samples to ensure they meet all legal requirements.

• Raw Material Management: You will prepare RM specifications for management approval. Consequently, you will also conduct risk assessments and maintain the Raw Material Directory.

• Supplier Liaison: You will build strong relationships with our supply base. In addition, you will act as the primary point of contact for technical queries.

• Professional Standards: You will maintain a professional work environment focused on our core business objectives.

• Collaboration: You will attend all necessary meetings and perform extra duties as directed by the Manager.

Technical Skills and Experience Required

We are searching for a candidate with a scientific background and a sharp eye for detail. Specifically, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Education: You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, ideally in Food Science, Meat Science, or Microbiology.

• Work History: You have at least 2 years of experience as a Specifications or Raw Material professional.

• Food Safety Knowledge: You demonstrate a deep understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety.

• Resilience: You thrive under pressure. Similarly, you can manage multiple tasks while meeting very tight deadlines.

• Tech Savvy: You possess strong skills in Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications.
