Role Overview

As our new Operations Executive, you’ll play an absolutely vital role in managing payment operations and meticulously handling client accounts. Your daily responsibilities will be varied and crucial to our financial fluidity and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Payment Collection: You will actively collect outstanding payments from both clients and insurers, ensuring timely financial inflows.
• Client Support: You will adeptly handle client calls related to payment queries and account issues, providing clear and professional assistance.
• Payment Processing: You will process payments and accurately update client accounts, maintaining meticulous financial records.
• Direct Debit Management: You will manage direct debit issues and swiftly resolve disputes tied to premium finance agreements.
• Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with finance partners and our IBA team to ensure smooth insurer settlements.
• Discrepancy Resolution: You will investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies, upholding financial accuracy.
• Cash Flow Monitoring: You will continuously monitor insurer payments to maintain optimal cash flow and reconciliation accuracy.
• Transaction Clearance: You will clear pending transactions promptly, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Process Improvement: You will support improvements in credit control processes and contribute to financial compliance efforts.
• File Accuracy: You will perform diligent file checks and ensure the accuracy of contracts.
• Overdue Follow-ups: You will meticulously review the aged debtors list and coordinate follow-ups for overdue payments.
• Product Assessment: You will conduct annual fair value assessments of insurance products.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a professional who brings:

• Proven experience in credit control or similar financial roles.
• Clear and professional telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• A collaborative team spirit, coupled with a solid understanding of insurance finance operations.
