 What You’ll Be Doing?

As our Operations Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the charity’s daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will span a broad range of areas, including:

• Facilities & Premises: Helping to maintain a safe, well-functioning and pleasant environment across our two key Sheffield locations.
• Health & Safety: Supporting initiatives that keep our staff, visitors, and volunteers protected and well-informed.
• Vehicle Management: Keeping track of our charity vehicles, ensuring maintenance, usage and documentation is up to date.
• IT Services: Liaising with providers and assisting with basic tech issues and equipment requests.
• Environmental Practices: Contributing to sustainability goals and supporting eco-friendly operations.

This is not just a support role — it’s a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in risk management, policy writing, and day-to-day business operations. You’ll be working closely with the Operations Manager and will gain insight into how a well-run charity works behind the scenes.
