✨ About the Role: Content Marketing Specialist:

Are you passionate about content creation and SEO? Can you write clearly, creatively, and with purpose? Do you want your words to generate traffic, leads, and business growth?

If so, this role is for you.

As our Content Marketing Specialist, you will help strengthen Timberwise’s digital presence. You’ll work to boost visibility on search engines, answer engines, and AI platforms – driving both traffic and leads through compelling written content.

This is a hybrid position: 2 days per week in the office, and 3 days working from home – offering the flexibility you need while still collaborating with our amazing team.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of our forward-thinking marketing team, you’ll take ownership of content performance and development. Your tasks will include:

📝 Writing & Editing

  • Create compelling content in our brand voice including:
    • Blogs
    • Press Releases
    • Case Studies
    • Whitepapers
    • Email Campaigns
  • Adapt tone and messaging for both B2B and B2C audiences.

🔎 SEO & Optimisation:

  • Conduct keyword research and content planning.
  • Optimise content for AI tools and answer engines (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot).
  • Use white-hat SEO to improve search rankings and visibility.
  • Implement UX and conversion rate optimisation strategies for lead generation.

📈 Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor competitor activity and propose actionable improvements.
  • Track engagement, keyword rankings, and lead generation metrics.
  • Identify new opportunities through research and data insights.

📱 Social & Local SEO:

  • Assist in managing social platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram).
  • Optimise Google Business Profiles for local search performance.
  • Support campaigns that build community engagement and brand loyalty.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with a passion for writing and a solid understanding of content strategy. If you love words, thrive on deadlines, and enjoy seeing your content convert into real results, we want to meet you.

Required:

  •  1–2 years’ experience in content writing or digital marketing
  • Strong written English – creative, accurate, and engaging
  •  Experience using CMS platforms like WordPress
  •  Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
  •  Ability to plan, research, and write with structure and purpose
  •  Experience in link building and using white-hat SEO practices
  •  Experience optimising Google Business Profiles

Nice to Have:

  •  Understanding of social content trends on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  •  Familiarity with link outreach strategies
  •  Knowledge of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
  •  Experience with tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
  •  An eye for UX and content layout optimisation
