About the Role

As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and maintaining our enterprise networks. You will troubleshoot escalated Helpdesk tickets, manage network security, and develop innovative solutions that support major automobile companies. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Network Engineering, you’ll also lead technical research, improve infrastructure performance, and ensure seamless connectivity across the entire organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing and configuring enterprise network architecture, which includes subnetting, installation, and scope definition.
• Configuring routers, switches, and firewalls to meet security standards and ensure stability.
• Monitoring and analyzing network traffic patterns, and recommending strategic improvements.
• Developing comprehensive implementation plans for growth, security, and performance.
• Leading research on new networking technologies and proposing cost-effective solutions.
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring thorough resolution of all issues.
• Building and implementing resilient backup and recovery systems for reliable operations.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a professional who brings:

• More than seven years of experience in enterprise environments.
• A strong working knowledge of Cisco equipment (a CCNP certification or equivalent is a plus).
• Proficiency in routing protocols like BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
• Strong skills with MS Office and Visio for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• While not essential, a degree is preferred.
