About the Role

As a core part of our Network & Data Centres team, you’ll be responsible for deploying and supporting our Wi-Fi infrastructure across the University. Working directly alongside the Network Operations Manager, you will ensure our services align with enterprise architecture principles and robust security standards.

This role provides a significant opportunity to contribute to an ambitious network modernization program, while also collaborating with internal IT teams and strategic external partners. You will help deliver business-critical network services that directly support the University’s mission of public good.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Deploy: You will design, deliver, and operate enterprise Wi-Fi services within a large, complex organization.
• Ensure Security: You’ll ensure that network security technologies are embedded in all solutions.
• Collaborate Effectively: You will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and external delivery partners.
• Manage Projects: You will manage business-critical projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Prioritize Work: You’ll be able to prioritize workloads independently with strong time management skills.
• Provide Support: You will provide customer-focused support, consistently enhancing the University’s digital experience.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a professional who brings:

• A Level 3 qualification (degree-level or equivalent professional experience).
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi networks and network security technologies.
• A strong background in delivering enterprise network services in complex environments.
• Skills in stakeholder and partner relationship management.
• An analytical problem-solving approach with the adaptability to changing needs.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
