Your Role as an Operations Analyst

This entry-level position primarily focuses on processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices. As a vital part of the Operations – Transaction Services team, you’ll help ensure the smooth clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Verifying trades: You will ensure booking accuracy.
• Generating confirmations: You will generate and match trade confirmations efficiently.
• Completing settlements: You will complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations promptly.
• Resolving issues: You will coordinate and resolve transaction processing issues effectively.
• Performing controls: You will perform regulatory controls, reconciliations, and record-keeping activities diligently.
• Submitting reports: You will prepare and submit periodic regulatory reports.
• Taking part in proofing: You will participate in periodic General Ledger (GL) proofing exercises.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who possesses:

• Previous experience in operations or data analysis (this is preferred, but not strictly required).
• GCSE English & Math qualifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-risk environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
