About the Role

As an Assistant Data Analyst, you’ll report to the Data & Analytics Manager and play a key role in collecting, processing, and analyzing data to deliver valuable insights for our Academic Sales function. Moreover, you’ll work closely with senior analysts and collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements. This will help you produce accurate reports and dashboards that directly support business strategies.

Your daily work will involve producing weekly and monthly reports, handling ad hoc requests, ensuring data quality, and maintaining clear process documentation while diligently following our strong data governance standards.

What You’ll Do

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Performing basic data analysis using statistical tools and techniques. 📈
  • Creating accurate and timely ad hoc reports and insights as needed.
  • Supporting the development of dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings clearly.
  • Partnering with senior analysts to deliver insights that truly shape business decisions.
  • Collaborating with operational support teams to understand data needs and automate manual reporting where possible.
  • Running regular data updates, monitoring data quality, and resolving data issues.
  • Following best practices in data governance and documentation. 🗂️
  • Participating in data validation, control processes, and team training opportunities to expand your skills.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or other data tools.
  • Great attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. 🔍
  • A collaborative spirit and a genuine eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau).
  • A basic understanding of statistical concepts (desirable).
  • Knowledge of BI tools like Alteryx (desirable).
