Role Details

• Salary: £25,000 – £38,000 per year
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: We offer flexitime, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our senior accounting staff and financial managers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping: You’ll accurately maintain financial records, post journal entries, and manage accounts payable/receivable. 🧮
• Data Entry: You will precisely input financial information into our accounting systems. 💻
• Reconciliations: You’ll perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure complete financial accuracy. 🏦
• Financial Reporting: You will assist in preparing key financial documents such as balance sheets and income statements. 📊
• Budgeting: You’ll help in preparing and analyzing budgets. 📈
• Invoicing & Expenses: You will generate invoices, verify expenses, and support payroll processing. 📥
• Compliance: You’ll ensure adherence to all financial regulations and accounting standards. ✅
• Ad-hoc Support: Finally, you’ll provide assistance on various accounting projects and tasks as required. 🔧

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
