Role Overview & Details

As a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of our Business Intelligence Analytics team. Your primary function will be delivering insightful reports and dashboards that directly influence key decisions across crucial areas, including Early Help, Children’s Social Care, and Youth Justice.

• Salary: We offer a competitive salary of £31,537 – £33,699 per year.
• Work Type: This is a Hybrid role, blending time at Stopford House Stockport with work-from-home flexibility.
• Hours: 37 hours per week | Permanent Contract.
• Application Deadline: The deadline is 16th October 2025, 11:59 PM.
• Interview Process: Interviews will be conducted virtually via MS Teams and will include a Technical Test.

Your Impact and Key Responsibilities

Your work will involve:

• Building Dashboards: You will build and maintain impactful Tableau dashboards and essential data reports.
• Providing Insights: You will provide data-driven insights to help improve outcomes for children and families in the Stockport area.
• Supporting Compliance: You will support the team with statutory data returns and critical analysis projects.
• Collaborating: You will collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure high-quality analytics delivery.

Ultimately, you will see firsthand how your analysis helps shape policies and supports real-life change within the Stockport community.

About You

We are actively seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic individual who loves working with data.

Specifically, you should have:

• Strong skills in Excel and confidence using SQL.
• A keen eye for interpreting and presenting data effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A true passion for continuous learning and strong teamwork.
• Experience with Tableau and/or Children’s Social Care data is desirable but not essential.
