About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you will support store leadership in creating a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Crucially, this role is all about bringing the Urban Outfitters vibe to life. You will achieve this by consistently delivering standout service, embracing creativity, and helping maintain an atmosphere that inspires both customers and teammates.

What You’ll Do

🌟 Customer Experience

You will create a friendly and engaging shopping experience through authentic conversations.
Furthermore, you will keep the Urban Outfitters VIBE alive by prioritizing customers during key hours.
You will maintain brand standards and deliver an experience that aligns with mystery shop expectations.
In addition, you will be a positive, helpful, and respectful presence on the shop floor.

🤝 Teamwork & Communication

You will collaborate with your peers to achieve shared goals effectively.
You will assist with training fellow team members as part of the “Peers Training Peers” culture.
You will communicate effectively and contribute constructively to daily team discussions.

⚙️ Operations

You will build proficiency in using tills, handling stock, and following fitting room procedures.
You will support new stock processing and keep back-of-house areas organized.
You will accurately complete weekly tasks, including markdowns, re-ticketing, transfers, and RTVs (Return to Vendor).
Finally, you will strictly follow loss prevention guidelines and all health & safety standards.

🧹 Merchandising & Display

You will maintain floor standards and ensure all products are correctly tagged.
You will keep displays fresh and help with creative merchandising projects.
Consequently, you will stay up to date with current trends and product knowledge.

What You’ll Need

Previous retail experience is a definite plus, though it is not essential.
An awareness of the Urban Outfitters brand and its customer appeal is necessary.
Furthermore, strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
