🔧 Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Operator

As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting high-performance marine components. Your role will include:

Component Assembly:

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Ensure that all products meet design and operational standards before moving to the next stage of production.

Quality Control & Inspection:

  • Conduct detailed inspections of parts and finished products, identifying any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Follow strict quality assurance guidelines to ensure only the best products reach the market.

Operating Tools & Machinery:

  • Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and automated machinery for assembly tasks.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of machines and report any issues to the supervisor.

Following Safety & Operational Procedures:

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in the assembly process.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of assembly times, materials used, and any production issues encountered.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to streamline the production process.

Team Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Work closely with technicians, engineers, and other operators to meet production goals.
  • Provide input on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

To be successful as an Assembly Operator, you should have:

Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Physical Stamina: Comfortable with standing for extended periods, performing manual tasks, and lifting moderate weights.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical or electrical components is an advantage.
Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of identifying and resolving basic assembly or machinery-related issues.
Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with supervisors and colleagues.
Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
