In fact, this permanent role offers 25 hours per week during term-time, plus 10 additional days. Supporting Practical Classroom Education
Essentially, your daily tasks involve preparing materials and equipment for various food lessons. You will also maintain our specialist rooms and storage areas to the highest standards. Furthermore, you will provide vital support during practical sessions to ensure everything runs safely. Consequently, you play a key part in helping students learn in a creative and organized space.
What Our Culinary Support Specialist Needs
Although previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, we value a positive attitude most. We seek an organized person who feels confident managing ingredients and equipment. Additionally, you must communicate effectively with both colleagues and students. Since you will often work independently, being proactive and adaptable is vital for success. Indeed, an interest in digital photography for documenting student work is also helpful.

Contract and Salary Details

Hours: 25 hours per week (Term-time plus 10 days).

Salary: GSAL point 13 (£25,581 FTE). Specifically, the actual salary for these hours is £14,084 per annum.
