Role Overview
In this position, you will operate as a “Contractor On Demand,” managing your own schedule while delivering top-tier evaluations. Essentially, you are responsible for conducting food safety assessments within a retail environment. Furthermore, you must ensure these assessments meet specific customer requirements in a professional and highly efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
As a technical expert, you will manage several vital tasks to ensure compliance and quality:

Availability Management: You will provide your monthly availability for all proposed retail work.

Planning: You must plan and manage assigned tasks within the specific timescales agreed upon with the client.

Report Delivery: You will complete retail assessments according to legal and client-driven standards. Additionally, you must submit audit reports immediately on the day of the audit.

Accuracy: You will correct and update any report errors within 12 hours of a request.

Communication: You must keep your Line Manager or Lead Auditor appraised of any client requests during the audit process.

Quality Assurance: You will allow shadow and witness audits from senior teams or the client as required.

Professional Growth: You must maintain your CPD and undertake additional training when we onboard new clients.

Technical Proficiency: You will maintain high-level IT skills to effectively use business software and equipment.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this contract, you must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications: You must be a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner. Ideally, you should hold EHORB registration (EHO or FSO).

Location: You must currently live in the United Kingdom.

Self-Motivation: Since you are self-employed, you must possess strong time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
