As part of our team, you will support our mission to ensure food safety and compliance across the entire supply chain. Furthermore, you do not need a degree or previous lab experience to apply! Location: Cambridge (Bar Hill)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Role Overview
Your daily contributions will ensure our laboratory remains efficient and accurate. Consequently, your responsibilities will include:

Sample Preparation: You will perform sample preparation and extractions strictly following SGS-approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Equipment Monitoring: You must report any failures in equipment or instrumentation to senior staff immediately.

Record Keeping: You will maintain organized and auditable laboratory records to ensure full compliance.

Operational Support: You will complete daily tasks efficiently to meet our operational output goals.

Safety First: You will maintain a safe working environment by following all Health & Safety protocols.
Candidate Profile
Ideally, you come from a food-process background, such as food manufacturing or fast-food restaurants. To excel in this role, you should possess:

Experience: Previous experience working in fast-paced food environments.

Precision: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical procedures accurately.

Organization: Good organizational skills to manage records and maintain compliance.
