About the Role

As a Data Scientist at CAVU, you’ll play a key role in our central data team, acting as a consultant to drive innovation across various business functions. You’ll design powerful data models, support automation, and create scalable machine learning pipelines using the latest tools, such as Databricks, AWS, PySpark, and CI/CD workflows.

Ultimately, your work will directly influence critical decisions across operations and customer experience—from personalized recommendations to advanced forecasting models and NLP solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing scalable machine learning models and data products.
• Collaborating with teams across Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, and Governance.
• Tackling real-world problems with cutting-edge tools.
• Optimizing ML workflows and automation pipelines.
• Delivering insights that shape both commercial and operational strategies.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• 2–5 years of experience in Data Science or a similar field.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Solid experience in classification, regression, forecasting, and NLP.
• The ability to present insights to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with AWS data services and Databricks.
• An understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern data architectures.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB).
• Experience with Harness or other deployment automation platforms.
