About the Role

As an IT Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and execution to thorough monitoring and final delivery. You will also partner with clients to precisely define requirements, scope, and success criteria. In addition, you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard.

Your role also includes acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, effective risk management, and strong stakeholder alignment at every stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities are structured across several key areas:

Presales & Planning:

• You will advise the sales team on realistic delivery timelines, potential risks, and specific requirements.
• You will build detailed project plans with clear milestones and contingencies.
• You will align project deliverables and expectations directly with clients.

Delivery & Execution:

• You will act as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• You will coordinate internal teams, vendors, and partners.
• You will monitor risks, manage changes, and ensure the quality of project outcomes.
• You will deliver consistent reporting and provide regular progress updates.

PMO & Process Improvement:

• You will enhance planning templates and delivery processes.
• You will drive consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement across the board.

Team Engagement:

• You will collaborate across departments to support company-wide success.
• You will uphold company policies and contribute to team initiatives.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

Education & Qualifications:

• A degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, PMI, or similar).

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering IT infrastructure projects, such as:
  • Infrastructure refresh (On-Prem / Cloud)
  • Microsoft 365 migrations
  • Azure migrations & transformations
  • Outsourcing & user migration projects
  • Backup & storage solutions
• Experience working with SME clients across diverse industries is essential.
