About the Role

As an IT Project Manager at Interpham Consulting, you’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of key IT projects. From initiation and planning to execution, reporting, and closure, you will be responsible for ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met. This is a chance to join a growing IT function that enables efficiency, reduces risk, and drives customer engagement across multiple business divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Your core duties will include:

• Managing multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and objectives are achieved.
• Developing detailed project plans that cover resources, testing, implementation, and training.
• Taking complete ownership of project risks, including scope, budget, and timelines.
• Ensuring all projects are compliant with governance, security, and PMO requirements.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders and project teams at all levels.
• Monitoring performance, delivering progress reports, and proactively resolving project challenges.
• Overseeing service transition phases to ensure a smooth handover into operations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings:

• A strong background in project management within defense or other highly regulated industries.
• Proven skills in risk management, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
• Experience managing IT projects with a budget of up to £0.5m and teams of up to 5 people.
• Knowledge of IT lifecycle management and project-to-service transitions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office tools, and scheduling software.
• PRINCE2 and/or PMP certification is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.
• SC Cleared status or the ability to obtain clearance.

Desirable qualifications include: ITIL, Six Sigma, and experience with process quality methodology.
