About the Role

As an HR Assistant, you will be at the heart of our people operations. Specifically, you will provide exceptional administrative and employee support, manage all Tier 1 HR queries, and ensure the smooth delivery of core HR services. In this capacity, you will empower colleagues through self-service tools, streamline essential HR processes, and help maintain the high standards that define the Harrods experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will manage and resolve Tier 1 HR queries promptly via email, phone, and our case management systems.
• You will deliver weekly and monthly administrative tasks, such as benefits administration, offboarding reports, and maternity communications.
• You will oversee the People Support inbox and efficiently handle external requests (e.g., reference checks and offboarding documentation).
• Furthermore, you will assign and monitor cases within Workday, ensuring accurate and prompt resolution.
• You will support cyclical HR processes and assist with ad-hoc HR projects assigned by the HR Services Team Lead.

About You

You should be an organized, proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You will bring excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities to the table, coupled with a genuine passion for delivering world-class HR support.

We require that you:

• Have previous HR experience, ideally gained in a similar role.
• Possess a good understanding of HR policies, employment law, and the full employee lifecycle.
• Are customer-focused and maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to GDPR compliance.
• Excel under pressure and manage multiple HR tasks with precision.
• Follow structured processes with both accuracy and efficiency.
