We’re seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role based in Chorley, UK. You’ll play a key role in developing and delivering our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

This is a target-driven position, and your ability to build relationships and communicate confidently will be crucial. You’ll also manage existing brand advocates and help connect with influencers and potential customers across various social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

As our Social Media Specialist, you will:

  • 📱 Manage and grow our social media accounts across platforms including:
    • Facebook (B2C & B2B)
    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • Twitter (X)
    • LinkedIn
    • YouTube
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content that aligns with campaign goals and brand voice
  • Write engaging copy for posts, ads, blogs, and social captions
  • Monitor analytics using tools like Google Analytics to improve engagement and reach
  •  Engage with followers, respond to messages, and nurture a loyal online community
  •  Connect with influencers, advocates, and new audiences who align with our mission
  •  Support the wider marketing team in achieving KPIs and growing conversions
  •  Stay updated on the latest trends, hashtags, and algorithm changes
  •  Create and deliver targeted social media campaigns and promotions
  •  Use insights and feedback to optimise content and improve results
  •  Work closely with in-house and freelance teams to deliver integrated messaging

 Who We’re Looking For

This is an ideal role for someone who’s confident, creative, self-driven and has a keen understanding of how social media can drive real business results.

✅ Essential Skills & Qualities:

  •  Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands
  • Strong understanding of content strategy and audience engagement
  • Excellent copywriting skills – blogs, captions, CTAs, and campaign messaging
  •  Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Meta Suite)
  •  Experience with Google Analytics and social media insights
  •  Creative mindset with ability to brief or create visual content (static & video)
  •  Strong communication skills and ability to engage with people at all levels
  •  Great time management and ability to handle multiple projects independently
  •  Ability to work flexibly, both in-office and remotely

💼 Desirable (but not essential):

  •  Qualification in marketing, communications, digital media or related field
  •  Basic video editing skills for Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts
  •  Experience working with influencers or brand ambassadors
  •  Knowledge of SEO principles and email marketing tools
  •  Experience in a target-driven marketing or sales environment

Hybrid Work Structure:
