Role Overview
As the Events Executive, you will take full end-to-end ownership of the event process—from initial planning and detailed coordination to flawless execution and comprehensive reporting. Therefore, you’ll play a key role in delivering a vibrant calendar of events, supporting the wider marketing team, and ensuring exceptional experiences for our partners and stakeholders.
Please note: This is a hybrid role (requiring 3 days in the office) with frequent travel across the UK, including occasional evening events. As a result, a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will cover every aspect of the event lifecycle:
- Planning & Approvals: You will gather detailed event briefs and secure necessary stakeholder approvals.
- Logistics Management: You’ll source event venues, conduct vital site visits, and manage all logistical arrangements.
- Execution Oversight: You will create detailed event checklists and allocate responsibilities to ensure smooth execution.
- Branding & Recruitment: You will design and manage event collateral, branding, and recruitment campaigns.
- Communications: You will lead all event communications across email, social media, the website, and outbound channels.
- Coordination: You will coordinate closely with vendors, marketing teams, and stakeholders for seamless event delivery.
- Budget Tracking: You’ll track event budgets and ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
- On-Site Support: You will provide on-site support, which includes setup, branding placement, managing badges, and merchandise distribution.
- Reporting: You will prepare post-event feedback and detailed reports for leadership to measure success.
- Travel: You must be willing to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays (with one required weekend per year).
Skills & Experience Required
We are seeking a candidate who brings:
- Relevant Experience: Experience in event planning, travel organization, or marketing is required (we welcome transferable skills).
- Core Abilities: Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
- Professional Attitude: You must be confident, motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Email).
- Flexibility: You must be flexible to travel and work evenings as required (on average 1–2 times per month).
- Collaboration: You must be professional, polite, and confident working across multiple teams.
