Role Details

• Location: London – Zone 1
• Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus.
• Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily Monday – Friday. Some occasional evenings/weekends will be required to attend client events.

About the Role

As our Event Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll own the development and execution of innovative sales and marketing strategies. You will lead campaigns, build and maintain strong client relationships, manage a talented team, and analyze performance data to ensure we achieve—and exceed—company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Your core duties will involve:

• Strategy & Planning: You will create and implement both sales and marketing strategies. Furthermore, you will establish annual budgets and sales plans designed to hit crucial revenue targets.
• Market Research: You will actively explore new market opportunities. Simultaneously, you will stay updated on industry trends and monitor competitor activities closely. 🔍
• Team Leadership: You will mentor, coach, and manage the sales and marketing team to ensure they exceed their goals. 💼
• Campaign Management: You will oversee promotional, advertising, and digital campaigns across multiple channels.
• Sales & Customer Relations: You will build and maintain strong client relationships, set clear sales targets, and identify new opportunities for growth. 🤝
• Performance Analysis: You will meticulously track and report on sales and marketing performance, industry trends, and the overall effectiveness of campaigns.
• Stakeholder Engagement: You will collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must bring:

• A minimum of two years’ experience managing sales teams in the events, venues, or hospitality sectors.
• A commercially minded, target-driven approach, demonstrated by success in closing business.
• A proactive stance towards sales and new business development.
• Highly organized work habits, along with strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Finally, flexibility is essential to attend client visits, showcases, and events as required.
