What You’ll Do

As a Social Media Content Assistant, you’ll be hands-on with content creation and delivery, consistently bringing fresh ideas to life across our channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more. Your key responsibilities will involve:

• Developing scroll-stopping, on-brand content – encompassing videos, photos, graphics, and compelling copy.
• Producing engaging self-shot videos, covering everything from essential skincare routines to helpful wellness tips.
• Brainstorming current trends and creative campaigns collaboratively with the team.
• Supporting the @BootsUK social calendars – managing scheduling, posting, tagging, and publishing activities.
• Ordering and managing stock specifically for shoots, and diligently tracking supplies.
• Attending shoots, events, and activations – sometimes outside regular hours – to capture exciting, real-time content.
• Creating presentations and documents to effectively showcase social plans across the entire business.
• Staying ahead of the curve with trends in social media, beauty, baby care, and wellness – helping Boots remain a leader in the social space!

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual who possesses:

• Proven experience in creating social-first content, particularly within the health and beauty sectors.
• Confidence with essential creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, and various video editing software.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, combined with a sharp eye for detail.
• A genuine passion for the influencer space – you should know key creators, both large and small.
• Creative flair and the ability to consistently produce fresh, original content ideas.
• Strong time management abilities, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
• Experience in content creation for brands is a significant plus!
• As a bonus, if you have experience with influencer partnerships or basic graphic design, that’s highly valued!
