Role Details
- Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 (Dependent on experience)
- Job Type: Permanent
- Location: Shoreditch, London (EC2A) – we offer a flexible hybrid model, allowing work-from-home options on Mondays and Fridays. Furthermore, you’ll also travel occasionally to Croydon and Stratford.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend engagement.
- Reporting to: Senior Social Account Manager
About the Role
As a Social Media Account Executive, you’ll essentially become the digital face behind a popular high-street beauty brand’s online presence. Therefore, if you truly live and breathe skincare trends, are captivated by makeup reels, and genuinely know how to build a dynamic and engaged Gen-Z community, then this is undoubtedly your dream role!
Moreover, you’ll work in close collaboration with the Senior Social Account Manager, our creative teams, and key influencer partners. Your mission, consequently, will be to bring viral beauty moments to life through scroll-stopping content that captivates audiences. 🌈📲
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Your core duties will involve:
- You’ll act as the eyes and ears for emerging beauty trends – thus, you’ll stay updated on everything from exciting new product launches to viral online debates.
- Your responsibilities include creating and meticulously managing engaging content calendars across TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat.
- Furthermore, you will draft catchy, Gen-Z-friendly copy that authentically reflects the brand’s vibrant tone of voice.
- We expect you to produce engaging lo-fi content, and also coordinate with videographers for more polished, high-quality visuals.
- In addition, responding to DMs, comments, and User-Generated Content (UGC) with genuine authenticity and an inclusive approach will be a vital part of your role. 💬
- Monitoring content performance meticulously, identifying key trends, and optimizing strategies accordingly for maximum impact, is also crucial.
- Finally, preparing and presenting insightful monthly performance reports to stakeholders. 📊
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A genuine passion for beauty, skincare, and the ever-evolving social media culture. 💕
- Deep knowledge and understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, particularly within the beauty space.
- Furthermore, proven experience in writing concise, error-free, short-form copy that drives engagement is essential.
- Strong instincts for capturing the Gen-Z tone, aesthetic, and engagement strategies.
- Additionally, confidence in using or a willingness to learn tools such as Canva, CapCut, and native platform editors is highly valued.
- Previous experience working with beauty brands is a huge plus, though not strictly required.
- Lastly, a willingness to dedicate 1–2 hours over weekends for community engagement, with equivalent time off in lieu during the weekday, is expected.
