About the Role

As a Logistics Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, day-to-day warehouse operations. You will assist in managing deliveries, organizing stock efficiently, and supporting all shipment processes. Crucially, you will also gain valuable technical insights into the high-tech products we handle. Therefore, we provide comprehensive technical training to help you better understand computer hardware, including how to build and diagnose systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Organization: You will maintain a clean, well-structured warehouse. Thus, you ensure that every item is in its correct place for easy retrieval.
• Delivery Management: You will receive, unpack, and accurately log new stock. Simultaneously, you will ensure all items are correctly labeled and recorded in our systems.
• Shipment Coordination: You will carefully pack and label goods for dispatch, ensuring timely courier pickups.
• Stock Control: You will support stock allocation for customer orders. Furthermore, you will conduct weekly inventory checks to maintain accuracy.
• Team Communication: You will collaborate effectively with colleagues both in person and via Slack. This ensures alignment on current stock levels and shipment status.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a candidate who brings:

• Technical Interest: Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware (a bonus if you have built or repaired a PC).
• Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Digital Proficiency: A digitally proficient individual with experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physicality: You must be physically fit and safety-conscious, with an awareness of proper lifting and warehouse practices.
• Attitude: A positive, motivated attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Salary & Benefits

• Pay: £30,000 – £35,000 per year
