What You’ll Be Doing

As a Data Scientist Graduate, you will be deeply involved in solving business-critical problems and driving product innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with a diverse group of teams, including product, operations, strategy, engineering, and algorithm teams, to find solutions using data.
• Diving deep into trends and patterns with powerful analytics to discover new growth opportunities for TikTok Shop.
• Designing and developing innovative statistical models, running crucial A/B tests, and implementing cutting-edge data strategies.
• Sourcing and integrating new datasets to enhance our product capabilities and user experience.
• Using AI-driven tools to create scalable, automated data solutions that boost efficiency.
• Cleaning, validating, and meticulously analyzing large datasets to ensure smarter model performance.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Education: A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (graduating by 2026).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Mindset: Strong logical thinking, an analytical mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn fast.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across different teams.
• Passion: A true passion for data analysis and a keen sensitivity to numbers.

Preferred Extras:

• Internship experience: Prior experience in Data Science or as a Data Analyst.
• Global mindset: Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in a global, diverse work environment.
