About the Role

As a Machine Learning Intern in our Global Data Science team, you will work on real-time projects involving time series forecasting, energy sector analytics, and risk management modeling. What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying statistical and machine learning techniques (ARIMA/SARIMA, XGBoost, LSTM, linear regression, etc.) for time series forecasting.
• Collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Traders to optimize investment decisions.
• Designing and implementing end-to-end data ingestion processes.
• Supporting traders with insights into Power, Natural Gas, and Oil market fundamentals.
• Identifying and back-testing new datasets using advanced ML techniques.
• Conducting research on AI, energy analytics, and big data best practices.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who is:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expected to graduate in Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027.
• Experienced with Python and ML libraries, such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Possesses a strong understanding of machine learning models (regression, deep learning, predictive analytics).
• Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
