Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Data Entry Clerk to join the Warwick Clinical Trials Unit (WCTU) at the University of Warwick. This role is a fixed-term contract until August 31, 2027, and it offers the chance to be a part of life-changing research that impacts patients globally. The position is based at Gibbet Hill, with remote or hybrid working options available, and falls under the Warwick Medical School – Clinical Trials Unit.
About the Role
As a Data Entry Clerk, you’ll be a crucial part of our team, responsible for entering, tracking, cleaning, and monitoring data submitted by research sites and participants. You’ll play a key part in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of clinical trial data. Additionally, you will support our trial management team by preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring all work adheres to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
This position is ideal for someone who can work meticulously, communicate effectively, and remain organized while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, track, and verify the accuracy of clinical trial data.
- Monitor data entered remotely by research sites and participants.
- Assist the trial management team with creating reports and maintaining trial records.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards.
- Communicate with staff and participants to encourage timely data submission.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail when reviewing and managing data.
- Experience in data management, preferably within a healthcare or research environment.
