🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
As tiney’s first dedicated Data Analyst, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things data. This is a unique opportunity to lead data initiatives across the business—from setting up dashboards to guiding strategic decisions. You’ll work alongside leaders across product, tech, finance, and operations to turn raw data into actionable insights.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Build Our Core Reporting Infrastructure
- Maintain and optimise data pipelines using BigQuery, Stitch, Census, and Dataform
- Ensure data models are accurate, clean, and built for scalability
- Design and manage internal dashboards using Metabase, helping stakeholders access insights with ease
Track and Support Team KPIs
- Collaborate with various teams to define and monitor relevant performance indicators
- Set up automated reports that allow for quick, reliable decision-making
- Ensure data tracking is consistent and aligned with OKRs
Drive Product and Business Analysis
- Conduct deep dives into user behaviour, operational trends, and product engagement
- Translate complex data into simple, actionable business recommendations
- Identify key opportunities to improve product and customer outcomes
Support Experiments and A/B Testing
- Assist in designing A/B tests and interpreting results to guide product direction
- Carry out cohort analyses and funnel performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement
- Monitor impact of feature releases and ensure data accuracy
Promote Data Literacy Across tiney
- Lead internal “data hours” to answer team questions and promote a data-savvy culture
- Coach teams on reading dashboards and interpreting data correctly
- Build tools and templates that allow teams to access and use data independently
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for a data generalist with a commercial mindset, someone who loves turning data into decisions. You should be technically skilled, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of a vital function in a mission-driven company.
✅ You’ll Need:
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with cloud data platforms like BigQuery
- Confidence building and managing data models using dbt or Dataform
- Comfort working with data pipelines and integration tools like Stitch and Census
- Hands-on experience building dashboards with tools like Metabase (or similar)
- Clear communication skills—you can make complex data easy to understand
- Strategic thinking—you know how to connect data insights to business outcomes
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work across departments with ease
- Experience with A/B testing, cohort analysis, and product analytics

📍 Location:
This is a remote-first role for candidates based in the UK. While most of our team works virtually, we gather occasionally in London, so you should be comfortable with monthly travel for in-person sessions.
