Role Overview

As a Cyber Technical Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of secure technology solutions. You’ll assist with risk assessments, architecture reviews, and control implementation. Crucially, you will learn to apply leading cybersecurity frameworks in real-world business environments. This role is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals eager to enter the cyber landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Your core duties will include:

  • Client Assessment Support: You will support client assessments through documentation reviews, interviews, and workshop preparation.

  • Framework Application: You will assist in applying cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.

  • Risk Analysis: You will analyse design documents to identify security risks and propose necessary mitigation measures.

  • Control Integration: You will contribute to integrating security controls into system designs.

  • Policy Drafting: You will support the drafting of information security policies and guidelines.

  • Threat Monitoring: You will monitor emerging cyber threats and technologies.

  • Risk Participation: You will participate in threat modelling and risk assessments.

  • Collaboration: You will collaborate with technical teams on secure architecture development.

  • Presentation Preparation: You will prepare materials for client meetings, pitches, and presentations.

  • Practice Building: You will engage in internal initiatives to strengthen the cyber practice.

Required Skills & Knowledge

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates:

  • Education: Degree educated or equivalent experience.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical Translation: The ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.

  • Adaptability: Adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Knowledge

Work Model & Security Requirements

 

  • Work Model: This is a Hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days a week at the Daintta office (London/Cheltenham) or on client site as required.

  • Security Requirements: Applicants must be eligible for SC clearance. Therefore, you must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be a British Citizen.

    • Must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years.
